Refrigerator, refrigerator - freezer CO2 bottle doesn’t fit into the adapter

If the refrigerator, refrigerator - freezer CO2 bottle doesn’t fit into the adapter, refer to the suggestions below for step by step instructions.

When installing a new bottle:
  • If there is water leaking at high pressures, it indicates that the CO2 bottle is not sealed properly or there is no carbon dioxide in the water.
  • This is most often caused by an incompatible CO2 bottle. AGA and SodaStream bottles with nozzles are not compatible with the refrigerator.
  • Original bottles from AGA are compatible with the refrigerator.

Important: If you have an incompatible bottle, contact your CO2 dealer to have the bottle exchanged. Electrolux is not responsible for CO2 bottles or changes from CO2 bottle supplier.

AGA CO2 - easy, safe and sustainable:

  • With an AQVIA Danish washing machine, you will always have access to fresh Danish water and tasty drinks to offer your guests.
  • You will no longer need to carry heavy bottles of water and soft drinks home from the shop and then carry them back again to get the deposits back. You will also do the environment a favor at the same time.
  • All AQVIA Danish water machines are supplied with a 425-gram carbon dioxide bottle. One bottle is enough for about 60 liters of water, depending on how fizzy you want your drinks to be.

AGA CO2 - for all Danish water machines:

  • AGA’s carbonated bottles are suitable for all Danish water machines and soda machines on the market: AQVIA, WasserMaxx, SodaStream, Soda Club and Soda Fresh. AGA CO2 is also compatible with Electrolux Source, Askos Homepub and AEG’s Aqua Fizz fridges.
